Let me tell you flying up and down the Tennessee river in college Bassmaster was terrifying. 24ft to less than a foot in 15ft. While In the middle of the river. Saw few schools lose lower ends

Great tourney, very diverse mix of techniques, lures, and personality, and ultimately one of the "good guys" won. BASS isnt perfect, but they are bout as good as it gets.

I would love to see one of the pros win a tournament on a topwater bite

So glad this wasn’t a spotlighting tournament because that’s so freaking boring and I refuse to watch when it is.

This is what it’s all about. The guys who grind their 🍑off and finally get to lift one of those big blue trophies. Not the guys who are always at the top, event after event, year after year. But the guys who are typically competitive and from time to time get to finish right up there at the top, but maybe have to wait years to win their first one, or have to wait so many years between wins. Them finally getting that break through event that they get to lift that thing in the air and know they’ve done it. That’s what this stuff is supposed to be about.
